Abstract

The invention concerns a permeable-magnetocaloric material designed for an application in thermo-magnetic devices such as magnetic refrigerators, magnetic heat pumps or magnetic power generators. This permeable- magnetocaloric material (10a) comprises an hybrid material including at least one soft magnetic permeable material consisting of particles (11a) embedded in a magnetocaloric material (12a). The particules (11a) present a disk or sphere shape, and first sizes which may be in the range of one to several hundred millimeters.
