Abstract

An algorithm for color microscope image segmentation is presented. The aim of the segmentation is to extract two types of color spots in a viewing area. The algorithm, based on k-means clustering, with a known number of spot types, automatically selects the color ranges for each type of spot and carries out the pixel classification.
