Abstract

The impact of growth rate of supratentorial infiltrative grade II gliomas on their prognosis has been shown to be highly significant. This is probably one of the most important prognostic markers predicting a risk of early malignant transformation. The aim of this summary report is to describe current knowledge concerning the impact of growth rate of untreated grade II gliomas on their prognosis as well as to describe the options for growth rates quantification.
