Abstract

Enantioselect-DeFluor: Carbon-fluorine bond cleavage by a chiral zirconium complex allows the synthesis of optically active 1,3-difluoroallene for the first time. Its absolute configuration was established by gas-phase vibrational circular dichroism spectroscopy.
