Madiha Doss is a professor of Linguistics in the French Section of Cairo University and a member of the March 9th Initiative for Cairo University’s Independence. She also played an active role in almost all recent protests for human rights, civil rights and democracy in Egypt prior to the January 25th Revolution. Doss gives a detailed narrative of the Revolution from her perspective. She went to Taḥrīr Square almost every day from January 25 until February 11.
