Video-on-demand (VoD) is rapidly gaining prominence as a commercial content service by offering end users the freedom to access recorded programmes at any time. User expectations have similarly increased, with high definition content now being the de facto quality level consumed by users. This presents challenges for multimedia systems researchers and operators looking to enhance their systems based on how users interact with them. In this paper, we present a dataset of user statistics collected from a P2P multimedia service infrastructure that delivers both live and on-demand content in high quality to users via different platforms. The data cover a period of seven months and exposes system statistics reported by thousands of user devices at fine granularity. Such rich data source could be harnessed by researchers to better understand delivery mechanisms, user behaviour, and programme popularity evolution.
