Abstract

Nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometry contributed significantly to the increase in the knowledge on silicas. The main characteristic of this method is its ability to analyze the surface as well as bulk properties of the material. As it is a local analysis of the neighborhood of different atoms, it is efficient for the study of amorphous materials as silicas.
