Abstract

We report an ultrafast fiber laser based on carbon nanotube saturable absorber. 84 fs pulses are generated directly from the fiber oscillator with 61.2 nm spectral width. ©2011 Optical Society of America OCIS codes: (140, 4050) Mode-locked lasers; (230.4320) Nonlinear optical devices.
