The presented monograph represents one of the outputs from project "Creation and development of multidisciplinary team on the basis of landscape ecology. The aim of the book is to understand regularities of the functioning of the landscape that has been preserved in the surroundings of the Czech villages in such condition, in which we would have found Bohemia nad Moravia more than a hundred years ago.
