Abstract

Greenhouse automation is one of the main advances in modern agriculture, this subject being included in many agricultural engineering and applied control curricula. This study presents the development of a web-based remote control laboratory using a greenhouse scale model for teaching greenhouse climate control techniques using different hardware and software platforms. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
