The Fermi resonance observed in the spectrum of solid phthalimide-N-D between the fundamentals ν(ND) and a combination of two vibrations of the imide ring, has been analyzed by using the isotopic shifts produced by 15N. Unperturbed levels and interaction parameters are reported.
