Abstract

We are targeting at a novel connectomic-based detection of the optic radiation (OR), known to be one of the most commonly affected fiber tracks by neurodegenerative diseases and most challenging tracks for accurate reconstruction. Furthermore, we evaluate the quality of the reconstructed OR in two different DWI sequences with clinically possible acquisition parameters and times. Finally, with our approach we demonstrate a methodology with high reproducibility regardless of parameter choice for the acquisition sequence.
