Abstract

The reaction of the [RuCl2(PPh3)3] complex with picolines has been examined. New ruthenium(II) complexes – [RuCl2(C6H7N)4] have been obtained and characterized by IR, 1H NMR and UV–Vis measurements. The crystal structure of the [RuCl2(β-pic)4] complex has been determined. The electronic spectra of the complexes have been calculated by the TDDFT method.
