Abstract

Poly has a tracker: By sterically controlling monomer-dimer equilibria, novel dyes can kinetically differentiate between homo-AT and alternating AT-AT polynucleotides. In this way, the width and steric occupation of the DNA minor groove can be finely probed and can be easily assessed by induced CD signals.
