Abstract

US guidelines recommending antiretroviral therapy (ART) for all patients should not yet be universally applied to resource-limited settings because of disparities in regimens used, monitoring, and access to uninterrupted ART. We discuss ethical implications of applying US guidelines in resource-limited settings.
