Abstract

Advantages of reduced graphene oxide (RGO) and Si nanowire (SiNW) array are integrated into a single photodetector by simple drop-casting of the suspension of graphene oxide (GO) nanosheets on top of the SiNW array followed by heat-treatment. The RGO-SiNW array heterojunction photodetector is photoresponsive to the visible, near-infrared, mid-infrared, and terahertz wave irradiations at room temperature.
