Abstract

protein (a) was reported to be associated with abnormal ABI.4 More important, the ABI was associated with car- diovascular morbidity and there was dose-response gradient for cardiovascular mortality.5 In the paper, the authors also demonstrate that ABI less than 0.9 can be an independent factor for cardiovascular events in the set- ting of outpatient clinic.
