Abstract

In this work, 4×4 organic blue light emitting diode passive matrixes, based on new poli(2,7-fluorene phenylidene) (PFP) derivatives, have been developed. Optical and electrical characterization has been carried out in terms of electroluminescence (EL) and current-voltage (I-V) measurements. Internal devices' parameters, such as carrier injection barrier and mobility, have been estimated by fitting a theoretical model based on injection and transport mechanisms to experimental data. Comparative study with similar devices based on a blue commercial polymer (PFC6) has also been performed.
