Abstract

Studies the problem of stability region estimation and controller design for uncertain bilinear systems when linear controllers are used. Iterative linear matrix inequality (ILMI) algorithms are presented to estimate the closed-loop stability region and design the controllers. No tuning of parameters is needed in the design methods. The design aims to optimize between the size of the stability region, damping of the state variables, and the feedback gain.
