Abstract

The diagnostic value of the bioradiolocation monitoring in non-contact screening of sleep apnea syndrome was estimated in comparison with standard polysomnography. The quality of the diagnosis based on bioradiolocation somnography was tested on the basis of calculation of its sensitivity and prognostic value in cases of obstructive apnea, central apnea, and hypopnea. The results of the tests can be regarded as satisfactory because the apnea estimates fell within the individual apnea/hypopnea index range of apnea severity threshold value. This estimate was compared with the results obtained using standard polysomnography.
