Abstract

Introduction and purpose: Neurological manifestations of hypercalcemia include –among others-seizures, headache, confusion and coma. Cerebral infarction due to hypercalcemia, has also been described as a rare complication. The aim of the present study is to report a rare case of cerebral ischemia due to hypercalcemia in a patient with primary hyperparathyroidism.
