The TLM method (with use of the symmetrical condensed node) is used to simulate the excitation of a plate by a plane EM wave with oblique propagation. The use of properties relative to the planes of constant amplitude and the planes of constant phase permits one to solve for the loss of symmetrical properties present at normal incidence but which doesn't exist for oblique incidence. The calculation of the coefficient of reflection illustrates the validity of the proposed method.
