Abstract

Supporting the evolution of oxygen: Deposition precipitation is used to decorate a carpet of silicone nanofilaments with nanostructured nickel oxide. The nanofilament support allows a decrease in the oxygen evolution overpotential in alkaline medium, and the process is of general interest for the development of binder-less electrodes.
