RIASSUNTO Dall'inizio degli anni '90 è attiva una collaborazione tra Museo di Scienze Naturali e ASL di Bergamo per il rico-noscimento di animali molesti o presunti tali. Questa attività fu formalizzata con una convenzione di consulen-za zoologica nel 1996. Nel corso degli anni, parallelamente all'attività di identificazione dei reperti, si è provve-duto a registrare i dati relativi alle identificazioni al fine di valutare l'entità delle problematiche relative alle spe-cie infestanti. Si sono inoltre realizzati due importanti progetti riferiti a situazioni particolarmente avvertite dalla popolazione: il monitoraggio della presenza della zanzara tigre e il contenimento della popolazione muscina in un impianto di trattamento di rifiuti posto nella periferia di Bergamo. Since the early 90's there has been an active collaboration between the Museum of Natural Sciences in Bergamo and ASL (Local Health Authority) of Bergamo, for the recognition of animals and pests that are dangerous or assumed to be. This collaboration, formalized with a zoological consultancy agreement, has already been active for 15 years. During these years it has been possible to record requests by citizens in the province for identification of pests. The analysis of the data has made it possible to assess the extent of the problems concerning the different species of pests. In addition to the normal activity of recognizing pests, two important projects have been realized addressed to situations that are particularly felt by the population: the monitoring of the presence of the Asian tiger mosquito and the containment of the population of flies in a waste treatment plant on the outskirts of Bergamo.
