Abstract

This chapter presents the impact of the Information and Communications Technology – ICT at organizational learning, through a review of the state of the art in this field. First, addresses the basic concepts of knowledge society and the process of change due to a postmodern era and its implications for organizational learning. Additionally, addresses the concept of ICT, its development, components and a relevant discussion concerning the difference between data, information and knowledge so necessary for the accuracy of organizational learning. Finally presents the definition of organizational learning observed from the organization itself and describes a series of studies of the impact of ICTs on organizational learning and through this into the increasing productivity and innovation.
