Abstract

Discusses the possibilities for collaboration between health librarians and related information workers in the creation of an international network dedicated to preparing, maintaining and disseminating systematic reviews of the effects of health information services and systems. Examines the Cochrane Collaboration and its sibling the Campbell Collaboration as possible bases for such an initiative and the potential application of a meta-ethnographic approach to professional literature. Agreement on common study protocols for initiatives at a local level seems to offer a practical mechanism for ongoing research and evaluation.Record 20 of 44
