Abstract

Yohkoh observed many dynamic phenomena in the solar corona, such as flares, microflares, plasma ejections, and jets. These can be explained by the magnetic reconnection model. The review summarizes some results obtained from our magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) simulations of the microflares triggered by emerging flux (Shibata et al. 1992), X-ray jets (Yokoyama and Shibata 1995), plasma ejections (Magara et al. 1996), and solar flares (Yokoyama and Shibata 1998) based on the magnetic reconnection models.
