Abstract

Innovative trends suggest high demands from its consumers and furthermore, the principle of reciprocity between producers and users necessitates an ongoing, sustainable, and stabile progression in any field of interest. The field of education is no exception. As a novel technology in education, robotic technology and use of humanoid robots happen to be a hotly-anticipated issue and have a tendency to be utilized and improved due to a great number of reasonable grounds. The sober fact is that development of robots is still in the initial stages, yet virtually, that robot technologies bring new developments to education is above suspicion. This study discusses the possible inferences of utilizing robots in language teaching. Basically, a reasonable and modest possibility of exploiting robots as aiding tools in language teaching-learning environment makes it worth to take this alternative into account seriously due to the fact that improvements in technology will inevitably have reflections in education and using robots as an effective tool in language teaching takes considerable attention. Prominent characteristics and probable roles of robots , which have remarkable effects in the language teaching-learning environments, will also be under focus.
