Abstract

The influence of Pu subtitution by U andNp on the electronic properties of the superconductor PuCoGa5 have been investigated by SQUID magnetometry. The critical parameters are dramatically reduced compared to the pure sample, the critical temperature drops from Tc 18:6K down to 8.4 and7.2 K andthe upper critical field, from Hc2 0 74T down to 8.7 and 3.4 T, in Pu0.9U0.1CoGa5 andPu 0.9Np0.1CoGa5, respectively. In the normal state, the magnetic susceptibility of both compounds obeys a modified Curie-Weiss law with similar effective moments, reduced compared to the pure PuCoGa5. ; JRC.E.6-Actinides research
