Solutions of the Lifshits-Slezov equations for the size distribution function of grains of a new phase (quantum dots) are obtained for the case of initially monodisperse distribution. Based on these solutions, a conclusion is made regarding the dependence of the distribution functions on the initial conditions, and its qualitative asymptotics is found for a few particular cases of initial conditions.
