The objective of this article is to make some considerations and reflections about the Marital Psychotherapy in the Person-centered approach. In the first part there is the bibliographic review of texts from 1960 to 2002, related not only to the marital psychotherapy, but also to the family psychotherapy. In the second part there are some questions and reflections, which were thought, based on the previous considerations. In the third part, the author states her own way of working with marital psychotherapy, according to the principles of the PCA, and she also claims the need of other studies, not only about the understanding of the family group, but also to differ family psychotherapy and marital psychotherapy.
