Abstract

IMPACT SCREEN SHOTS REFERENCES It is a library of online database which collects, stores, display and made to be accessible the entire available dissertation by IMU students in a video representation form. This online database creates a platform for the students from all the discipline in IMU to freely access the available resources of the dissertation in video representation thus engaging and nurturing students in a knowledge sharing environment. Traditional method of referring dissertation from library by reading text may not be effective in providing the overall idea of the study and also time consuming. Thus it allows the students for the integration of knowledge and information a collaborative research question and background references within a limited time. SIGNIFICANTS Video is a popular tool in learning environment, although its production requires resources and time. Few studies have examined the impact of the use of video in learning upon cognitive processes and critical thinking. A recent study have demonstrated that video based learning are superior when compared to text based learning. This is due to video can present a smoother and more exact sequence of steps in a given clinical procedure compared to text instructions. Video representation thus can be an effective medium that permits students to listen and witness the dynamics of research summarized in short videos as well as enables the students to understand the context of research and how it was conducted.
