Abstract

An anionic surfactant, Na+C12(EO)4-5OCH2COO-, that spontaneously forms vesicles at room temp. and at slightly acidic pH values is discussed. The phase diagram picture shows the pseudo-ternary phase diagram of the system Na+C12(EO)4-5OCH2COO--C12(EO)4-5OCH2COOH-water.
