Abstract

This work presents a study of the nonlinear optical, piezoelectrical and pyroelectrical properties of a semiorganic cesium hydrogen L-malate monohydrate single crystal (CsLM). CsLM crystal generates of second harmonic light with an efficiency an order of magnitude greater than KDP. The high value of its piezoelectric coefficient makes this crystal a promising candidate for practical applications.
