Abstract

When developing research output management systems, it is important to be clear on who you are developing the systems for, what you want users to be able to do, and how the service will be governed. This session will help participants to think through some of the key issues that need to be addressed before implementing any services. After this session, participants will: •be able to scope research outputs management (ROM) service provision at their HEIs •be able to identify value added services for their repositories •be better able to engage in strategic planning •have a draft value proposition for their ROM service
