Abstract
The first metal-free “coordination-insertion” ROP of cyclic carbonate and lactones mediated by N-trimethylsilyl-bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide (TMSNTf2) was proposed, which in the past was exclusively the monopoly of metal complex catalysts.
