ABSTRACT Among 217 Aeromonas isolates identified by sequencing analysis of their rpoB genes, the accuracy rates of identification of A. dhakensis , A. hydrophila , A. veronii , and A. caviae were 96.7%, 90.0%, 96.7%, and 100.0%, respectively, by the cluster analysis of spectra generated by matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization–time of flight mass spectrometry.
