Abstract

; The Enlightenment formulated an idea of human nature that was enriched by Rousseau, with a perspective open to all human differences. From these ideas he postulated a relationship somehow aesthetic with the other ideas of the Enlightenment, through feeling and compassion. This relatioship is symbolized by the figure of the ???noble savage???. Here we find the birth of Anthropological Theory.
