And the time of these changes can be measured in years and decades, changes can occur during one person's life. The consequences of sudden climate change are one of the trends in modern climatology. Sudden climate change will cause as dramatic changes in social and anthropological systems as in natural systems. Currently, there are several scientific reports discussing exactly this - sudden - scenario of climate change. One of the authors of the theory of sudden climate change is James White, who for several years headed the Institute of Arctic and Alpine Research at the University of Colorado (USA).
