Abstract

Infection outcomes for cryptococcosis, most commonly caused byC. neoformans, are influenced by host immune responses as well as by host and pathogen genetics. Infecting yeast isolates are genetically diverse; however, we lack a deep understanding of how this diversity impacts patient outcomes.
