Abstract The aim of this literature synthesis is to summarize the evidence to provide meaningful clinical guidance for airway practitioners, trigger studies on tracheal intubation to answer open questions, and stimulate departmental intubation standard operating procedures during pediatric intubation to increase patients' safety.
