Abstract

The light energy conversion using the wide-gap semiconductor, such as TiO2, has been recognized as the promising way for the realization of the sustainable society. Recently, the combination of the plasmon active metal nanostructures with the semiconductor electrode has been received much attention due to its wide range photo response ability. On the other hand, graphene is the one of the interesting two-dimensional material because of its physicochemical properties. In this study, we have fabricated the graphene composited plasmonic photo electric conversion electrodes as the new light energy conversion electrode. The system shows characteristic behavior at photo energy conversion due to modification of surface electronic structure at graphene/Au nanostructure inerfaces.
