Abstract

Overexpression of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters is a major cause of drug resistance in fungal pathogens. Milbemycins, enniatin B, beauvericin, and FK506 are promising leads for broad-spectrum fungal multidrug efflux pump inhibitors.
