Abstract

A dicopper complex featuring a symmetrically bridging nitrile ligand and supported by a binucleating naphthyridine-based ligand was treated with phosphaalkynes to yield dicopper complexes that exhibit phosphaalkynes in rare μ-η22 binding modes.
