Abstract

We present updated versions of the stpsurv, stpci, and stpmean commands, which were introduced in Parner and Andersen (2010, Stata Journal 10: 408–422), along with a new command, stplost. The commands generate pseudo-observations of the survival function, the cumulative incidence function under competing risks, the restricted mean survival-time function, and the cause-specific lost-lifetime function. The pseudo-observations can be used to assess the effects of covariates on their respective functions at different times by fitting generalized linear models to the pseudo-observations. The updated commands feature new options, an increase in computational speed, and the ability to handle survival data with delayed entry.
