Abstract

Immunosuppression induced by Mycobacterium tuberculosis is important in the pathogenesis of active tuberculosis (TB). However, the impact of depressed TB-specific and non-TB-specific gamma interferon (IFN-γ) response on the treatment outcomes of TB patients remains uncertain.
