Abstract

Key Points Acute GVHD leads to defective MHC class II antigen presentation by donor DC, leading to a failure of peripheral Treg homeostasis. Impaired Treg homeostasis results in chronic GVHD directly and can be alleviated by adoptive Treg transfer.
