Abstract
The microbial transformation of anabolic androgenic steroid mestanolone (1) withMacrophomina phaseolinaandCunninghamella blakesleeanahas afforded seven metabolites. Some of them have exhibited moderate cytotoxicity against HeLa cancer cell line.
