O objectivo do presente relatório é identificar os principais meios audiovisuais susceptíveis de serem utilizados como instrumento de ensino na aprendizagem das línguas e, partindo de uma análise do trabalho desenvolvido por autores de referência nesta matéria, aplicá-los no caso concreto das actividades levadas a cabo no âmbito da Prática de Ensino Suprevisionada (P.E.S.). Por fim, são monitorizados os resultados obtidos, através de uma análise quantitativa e qualitativa dos mesmos. O estudo desenvolvido foi levado a cabo na Escola Secundária Camilo Castelo Branco e no Instituto Espanhol Giner de los Ríos, no ano lectivo 2014/2015, abrangendo um total de quatro turmas, duas em cada um dos estabelecimentos de ensino. Este relatório integra, por conseguinte, as planificações e os registos de observação das aulas, tendo como finalidade demonstrar o benefício da utilização dos meios audiovisuais na aprendizagem das línguas, seja a língua materna (no caso, o português), seja a língua não-materna (no caso, o espanhol língua de herança), seja ainda a língua estrangeira (no caso, também o espanhol). Para comprovar a hipótese deste benefício, baseei-me em dados obtidos através da percepção de alunos e professores relativamente às vantagens da utilização destes meios em sala de aula. O trabalho aqui reportado inclui, assim, uma análise de questionários de opinião colocados a alunos e professores de línguas, tendo em vista aferir a importância e o gosto pelo recurso a meios audiovisuais em sala de aula, e permitindo concluir sobre a sua relevância para a melhoria do trabalho desenvolvido a nível de ensino. Ao abordar os meios audiovisuais em contextos educativos, apercebemo-nos de como a diversificação destes materiais, em inter-relação com a diversificação dos espaços, pode, pelo acréscimo da motivação, promover o desenvolvimento das várias competências, e ser, deste modo, um contributo para uma melhor aquisição de conhecimentos por parte dos alunos. ; This report aims at identifying the main ways of using audio and video instruments in teaching foreign languages and applying them in Supervised Teaching activities. There will also be an analysis of using these instruments in class, bearing in mind the work developed by renown author is this matter. Lastly, there will be a monitorization of the obtained results, through a quantitative and qualitative analysis. This study has been developed in Escola Secundária Camilo Castelo Branco and in Instituto Espanhol Giner de los Rios during the school year of 2014/2015, in a total of four classes, two in each school. Therefore are part of this report the year plans and the class observation register, as well as some of the evaluation methods that were used. The purpose of these materials is to demonstrate the benefits of using audio and visual instruments in learning a language, whether it is the mother tongue (in this case, Portuguese), the second language (in this case, Spanish as second language) or a foreign language (in this case, Spanish). In order to prove these benefits, I have based my conclusion in real data, which were obtained in applying these teaching instruments in class. The work developed, and here presented, also includes an analysis of opinion questionaires given to language teachers and pupils (randomly selected) to assertain the importance of audiovisual stimuli used in the classroom. Its aim was to assess the audiovisual stimuli’s relevance in improving classwork. By introducing audiovisual resources in educational contexts, one concludes that diversifying materials, along with the use of a plethora of spaces, will promote the acquisition of various linguistic skills through heightened motivation, and ultimately, it will be a contributing factor for improving pupils’ performance.
