The in situ aeration for the remediation of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) landfills has become increasingly popular and several projects have been successfully conducted worldwide. The Airflow® technology, implemented by Spinoff together with the University of Padua has been tested and applied in several cases in Italy in the past decade. In the paper, three examples are presented and briefly described.
